The 2017 edition of the CSS annual “Bulletin on Swiss Security Policy” contains chapters on the contribution of the Swiss Muslim organisations to PVE (Darius Farman and Fabien Merz), the expansion of jihadi Salafism in Libya, Morocco and Tunisia (Lisa Watanabe), the organized crime in fragile contexts as a challenge for Swiss development cooperation (Benno Zogg) and Switzerland’s foreign health policy (Ursula Jasper). It also includes an interview with Guy Parmelin, Swiss Federal Council and head of the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection (DDPS). Furthermore, ETH’s newly provided “Master of Advanced Studies ETH Mediation in Peace Processes” (Simon Mason and Andreas Wenger) and urban security in a changing risk landscape (Linda Maduz and Florian Roth) are discussed.
