This report focuses on the challenge of developing economic, energy and environmental policies that complement existing initiatives designed to reconcile the drive for economic growth with the need for greater environmental protection and air quality in China and India. The report is the result of several seminars with experts from China, India, Japan and the US that addressed the prospects for economic growth, energy use and the environment. It presents the general consensus of the group's work and includes key policy recommendations.
