This task force report argues that US and European policymakers must revitalize the tools of their engagement with Georgia if that country is to succeed in accomplishing the political, security, and economic transformations required at this critical juncture. The report stresses the importance of US and European leadership to counter Russia’s creeping annexation of the occupied territories and solidify an international commitment to Georgia’s territorial integrity over the long term.
