This paper analyzes "culture shock" at the work place as a matter of a social interaction crisis. The author draws upon his qualitative research consisting of interviews with managers from different Western countries who work in Warsaw. The research findings concentrate on existing differences in moral values in four relevant events: the work progress control, loyalty to the company, stealing goods and money from the company and work discipline.
