This issue of the Perspectives on Terrorism contains three articles in the field of terrorism studies. Topics discussed range from the influence of globalization and localization on the perception of Islamic terrorism in the Western world, to the fear the invisibility of terrorist groups engenders in potential victims of such attacks. In addition, this issue features a discussion of the impact of terrorist threats on the security of global aviation.
