This issue of the Perspectives on Terrorism explores a range of issues pertaining to the field of terrorism studies. Articles featured range from a discussion of the new wave of Takfirism, its implications and possible ways to counter its spread, to an analysis of the phenomenon of "de-radicalization" among armed Islamist movements, factions and individuals. In addition, this issue includes a report on the Taliban movement in Pakistan, its organizational structure and goals.
