In this report, authors from 16 European think tanks examine the EU's external action at a time when economic power is shifting toward Asia: a trend that has raised questions about European influence and regulatory capacity at the global level. The report outlines recommendations that could strengthen and increase the coherence of the EU's instruments of external action as well as building blocks for new strategic thinking in the area.
