This paper looks at NATO’s cyber defense policy. In particular, it discusses the Alliance’s past experiences with cyber security, its existing policies and organizations which deal with cyber incidents, and the possible future of NATO’s cyber capabilities. Finally, it examines challenges NATO will have to address to improve its cyber defense and provides a number of recommendations.
