Publication

This publication focuses on the European Union’s growing interest in Asia and analyzes the changes in EU policy towards the Asia-Pacific region from the viewpoint of Japan. The paper also looks at the changing power constellation in Asia and the region's fragile security situation. The author identifies a range of possibilities for further cooperation between the EU, Japan and other Asian states and concludes by suggesting several concrete policy proposals.
