This paper takes a long-term view of US-China relations within the context of trade, resource use, technology, and population growth. In order to tackle these issues, it recommends creating a 'Vision Group' that would establish a "new type of great power relationship" between the two countries. Over time, and as appropriate, this group could be expanded to include representatives of other nations.
