This brief examines Egypt's progress in achieving wage fairness, better working conditions, and advancement of labor rights since the uprising in 2011. The author argues that the transition governments have done little to address wage policy or other aspects of employer-employee relations. He then recommends steps which the Egyptian government could take to better address the interests of both workers and employers.
