This report looks at the findings of a survey measuring US public opinion of Cuba and US-Cuba relations. The authors find that a majority of Democrats, Independents and Republicans are ready for a change in US policy toward Cuba and that support for change is higher in Florida than the nationwide figure. The authors say this finding is key as Florida's stance on Cuba was a main reason for the US' tough position on the country. The authors end the piece by looking at some of the policy implications of their findings.
