This issue examines Czechoslovakia’s political, economic and cultural relations with the countries of Latin America in the second half of the 20th century. In particular, the articles look at: 1) the diplomatic relations between Latin American countries and Czechoslovakia; 2) Czechoslovakian documentary film productions on Latin America; 3) arms deal between Czechoslovakia and Guatemalan President Arbenz; 4) economic relations between Cuba and Czechoslovakia; 5) relations between Czechoslovakia and Brazil; and 6) the political and economic relations between Czechoslovakia and the military regimes of Argentina, Uruguay and Chile.
