This issue of “Perspectives on Terrorism” features articles on 1) the labeling and analyzing of contemporary terrorist actors as insurgent groups; 2) how mass media depicts responses to terrorism and affects public perceptions of counterterrorism; 3) the nature and effects of an online counterterrorism campaign and 4) right-wing terrorism in Germany.
