This paper examines the effectiveness of Turkey's anti-corruption policies. The author argues that despite an improvement of the legal framework to combat corruption in the country, there has been little or no implementation of the administrative measures issued by successive governments and major anti-corruption treaties signed after the country's economic crisis of 2001.
