This publication recommends that the US should take the lead in establishing an all-Syrian National Stabilization Force (SNSF) that would provide a military solution to the country's civil war. In support of this idea, the publication's authors lay out the potential political objective and military mission of such a force and identify the major challenges the US would face in establishing the SNSF.
