This publication comments on US foreign policy in the Middle East. The author argues that growing American interventionism has destabilized the region and estranged former allies. He believes that the main motivation for this activism is Washington’s fear of an emerging ‘Eurasian bloc’ comprised of Russia, China and a Germany-led Europe.
