In order to buttress up the existing international institutional order, this paper advocates the creation of a new trilateral relationship between the US, Europe and Japan. In pursuit of this argument, the text’s author highlights the mainstays of the liberal international order, why they’re still necessary, and the “platforms of cooperation” the above actors might pursue.
