Publication

This publication calls for greater civilian-military cooperation in ensuring maritime security. In particular, the text’s author 1) highlights the four dimensions of the complex maritime domain; 2) distinguishes the roles of navies from those activities that are amenable to civilian-military cooperation; and 3) provides examples of viable Maritime Security Operations, with a particular focus on the South China Sea and the PLA Navy.
