Well, how should the Trump administration engage with its neighbors to the south? According to this publication it should 1) energize its involvement with the region’s private sector; 2) collaborate with Latin American countries against organized crime; 3) promote greater regional integration; and 4) double down on successes in areas such as security and democratization. Note: The report also reviews the US’ relations with specific Latin American states and what policy options it might want to pursue with them.
