This publication discusses the political and economic rise of China and India and the implications for the Western world. The author describes the expanding economic systems of the two countries, their influence on the energy and commodity market and on global emissions. He also argues that if China and India can continue to grow at rapid rates, the global order will be turned upside down. The paper concludes that the West must regard the evolving shift in global geo-economics and geopolitics as an opportunity rather than a challenge, as it is the path that holds the greatest prospect for a stable and peaceful future.
