This report on the 2006 NATO summit in Riga focuses on the relationship between NATO and the EU. The author argues that a close partnership with the EU could bring the most value added to the tasks that NATO faces in dealing with threats to trans-Atlantic security. He outlines specific areas in which the two organizations could cooperate to the benefit of both sides.
