This report describes the challenges the trans-Atlantic economic leadership faces and outlines what the US and the EU must do to guide the global economy forward. The authors therefore examine the future of multilateral trade rounds, the growth of international investment and transnational capital flows, the threat of economic nationalism, the challenges of the international energy market and the roles of key governing institution of the global economy.
