This study examines the role of prospect use of nuclear power in the light of the growing global energy demand. The authors identify issues that must be addressed if nuclear power is to be used to provide sustainable energy supplies and presents a series of recommendations to countries considering the use of nuclear power such as developing nuclear policies, ensuring skilled manpower resources, committing to nonproliferation standard and safe-managing nuclear waste and spent fuels.
