The articles in this issue of Perspective on Terrorism focus on 1) the myth of Ba’athist influence in the Islamic State (IS); 2) IS’ penetration into Afghanistan-Pakistan and 3) its waning fortunes in the battle over cyberspace; 4) the contextual role of ethnicity and politics in shaping extremism; 5) the biographical factors that shape British jihadists; and 6) why the US military should support domestic CVE. The issue also includes bibliographies on IS and new terrorism-centered texts, and recent online sources that are available for terrorism analysis.
