This paper examines China's commitment to the the copyright protection of architectural works. The author concludes that, with regards to the reluctance of Chinese courts and administrative bodies to grant substantial damages to copyright infringement claimants, there is still a long way ahead for architects and engineers in China until they have adequate legal protection of their intellectual property.
