This paper discusses the strategic priorities for the trans-Atlantic relationship. The authors argue that together, Europe and North America must tackle immediate economic challenges while positioning economies for the future; build trans-Atlantic resilience, address the full range of international security challenges; continue to work toward a Europe whole, free, and at peace with itself; and reinvigorate trans-Atlantic efforts to preserve a habitable planet. The paper also focuses specifically on reforming NATO.
