Libya is suffering from an interlinked political, security and economic crisis that is proving to be particularly destabilizing for Tunisia. The emerging conflict economy across the Tunisian–Libyan border, the proliferation of non-state armed groups and the support they are receiving from external actors, and the backlash against the increased securitization of the two countries' border regions, are all threatening Tunisia’s resilience. Here’s the tale and what Tunis is trying to do to resist the threat.
