Cyberspace & Grand Strategy

With the upsurge in cases of state associated cyber conflict, an interest has developed surrounding the strategic utility of cyberspace. Although several authors have undertaken the initiative to evaluate the consequences of individual events in cyberspace, little has been said regarding how this emergent domain fits into the overall scheme of a state’s grand strategy. As such, the overall goal of this project is to determine how cyberspace, as an emergent domain, has become a component of grand strategy. Furthermore, the project the project speaks to the existing debate that questions the extent to which the domain’s technical characteristics influences strategic thought.
