This issue of the Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst opens with a feature article on the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline. Next, it presents three analytical articles on US engagement with Uzbekistan, the Afghanistan-Pakistan connection in the 2006 London Terror Plot, and counter-hostage taking in the North Caucasus. It also includes four field reports on the 2006 Kodori crisis, the construction boom in Dushanbe due to the influx of international organizations, counter-terror operations against the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU), and Russia-Kazakhstan space program cooperation.
