This issue of the Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst opens with four analytical articles on post-revolutionary politics in Georgia, education reforms in Turkmenistan, Russia’s 2007 suspension of the Conventional Forces in Europe (CFE) Treaty and the concerns of its southern neighbors, and the OSCE Minsk group and the peace process in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. It also features four field reports on Russian immigration policy, the opening of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia in Turkmenistan, the business climate in Tajikistan, and the suppression of opposition politics in Kyrgyzstan. The final pages furnish a news digest on the Central Asia-Caucasus region.
