This issue of the Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst features four analytical articles and four field reports, combined with a news digest. The articles focus on analyses of US missile defense strategy; the EU's rejection of Russia's justification for the war in Georgia; increasing military power in Kyrgyzstan; and Russian military intervention in the Commonwealth of Independent States. The field reports are concerned with the restriction of student mobility in Turkmenistan; issues of child labor in Uzbekistan' a Kyrgyz politician's loss of immunity; and the release of the Armenian Parliamentary Committee's assessment of the 2008 clashes.
