This publication provides an analysis of the issues facing Central Asia and the Caucasus in late October/early November 2009. It includes articles on sanctions against Uzbekistan, migrant remittances, the Armenia-Turkey Protocols and cuts in the Armenian Budget. It also includes field reports on the visit to Russia by the Tajik president and the results of Tajikistan-Russia negotiations, and also on the decision of the Kyrgyz president to entrust the country's economy to his son.
