The Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst is an English-language journal devoted to analysis of the current issues facing Central Asia and the Caucasus. This issue presents articles on the shift in the geopolitical environment of the Caspian Sea/Black Sea region, Karzai’s attempted reconciliation with the Taliban in Afghanistan, the significance of Ukraine’s elections for the southern energy corridor and Moscow’s appointment of a new candidate to lead the republic of Dagestan. It concludes with a news digest.
