This issue of the Caucasus Analytical Digest discusses poverty in the South Caucasus in general and in Azerbaijan and Georgia in particular. The first article provides an overview of poverty in the region, relying heavily on data from the Caucasus Barometer. The second examines Azerbaijan's oil wealth distribution. And the third article looks at the reasons behind Georgia's high level of poverty.
