This issue of the Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst includes analytical articles and field reports on security issues facing the Central Asia-Caucasus region in March 2011. The analytical articles examine the Islamic insurgency in the Kabardino-Balkaria region of the North Caucasus; the anti-corruption campaign in Azerbaijan; the Kazakh president's visit to China; and the deepening political cooperation among coalition members in Armenia. In addition, some shorter field reports provide accounts of allegations of police brutality in Tajikistan; the Turkish Prime Minister's visit to Kyrgyzstan; Azerbaijani efforts to curb corruption; and US Assistant Secretary of State Robert Blake's trip to Uzbekistan.
