This issue of the Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst includes articles and field reports on a host of security issues confronting the Central Asia-Caucasus region. These include the United States' Central Asia policies, the search for new theaters by jihadists in Central Asia, the influence of North Caucasus resistance movements on Tatarstan, and Uzbekistan's Afghanistan initiative.
