This issue of the CAD deals with the protests that occurred in Azerbaijan in January 2013. More specifically, the three articles describe the actual protests, their causes and their possible consequences. In addition, the issue contains a press review on the current disruptions, a chronicle of protest actions over the last two years, and the results of an opinion poll that describe the Azeri peoples’ views on their country’s politics.
