This report not only examines the role of the European Union (EU) in post-Soviet Central Asia, it also recommends ways that the EU can enhance its political, economic, and social influence in the region. In particular, the authors propose that Brussels moves away from failed regional projects and develops a long-term conflict prevention strategy.
