This study examines Turkey's global position and its relationship with the EU. The study is comprised of three main sections. The first part deals with the Eurozone crisis and new dynamics in the accession process. The second looks at the domestic reform process in Turkey and the three central issue areas in the accession process: the economy, democracy, and the Kurdish question. The third part addresses the Arab Spring and foreign policy cooperation between the EU and Turkey.
