This journal examines a variety of political developments in Central Asia and the Caucasus. Specifically it looks at: 1) the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China, 2) the TTP-Pakistan dialogue, 3) Russia’s position in the South Caucasus, 4) Moscow’s appointment of governors in the North Caucasus, 5) Georgia’s new head of state, 6) Azerbaijan’s preparation for Shah Deniz, 7) Armenia’s ANM party, and 8) a comparison of Georgia’s and Ukraine’s position ahead of the Vilnius EAP summit.
