This paper provides a historical overview of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia. The author outlines the historical ties between the two countries before revealing similarities in their more contemporary foreign policy priorities. These include mutual interests in: territorial integrity, prosperity and integration in the global and regional security and economic system. The paper concludes by outlining a prospective strategy for their future relationship.
