This brief discusses the collapse of the Central African Republic (CAR) state and the resulting humanitarian crisis in the country. It looks at the policy measures that need to be taken in order to stabilize the country as well as the whole region and calls for the immediate mobilization of the International Support Mission in the CAR (MISCA) to prevent further bloodshed.
