This article outlines Tunisia’s progress in initiating political reform and implementing democratic and institutional change since the uprisings in 2011. Despite the positive progress made, the author illustrates how three outstanding issues – the completion of the constitution, the development of a legal framework for elections, and the replacement of the government – could jeopardize the country's path towards democratization.
