This memo talks about the situation in Ukraine following the fall of the Yanukovych regime in early 2014. In particular, the author examines the economic and political landscape of Ukraine, the issue of Crimea and Eastern Ukraine, as well as Russia's influence in the country and its efforts to increase its leverage there. The author ends the piece by talking about what the EU should do in the short, medium and long term in order to support Ukraine's choice to move towards the European Union.
