This paper features a collection of essays on how Russian elites view the West and on Moscow's policies toward Eurasia. Among other issues, the authors discuss the history of the idea of "Eurasia" and what it means today; the Eurasian Union and its prospects of success; the disappointment of Russian elites with Western countries' policies; Russia’s fears of Chinese influence and competition in Eurasia; the part politics plays in Russia's pivot to Eurasia; and the impact of Russia's annexation of Crimea.
