This brief primarily focuses on 1) China's potential impact on Southeast and Northeast Asia, 2) the threats to stability in these regions, and 3) Europe’s evolving role in both of them. It also explores how history and economic interdependence shape the regions, what the future trajectory Korean Peninsula might be, and what are the strategic challenges Japan faces. Finally, the brief argues that Europe can't be complacent about Asia’s stability or security.
