This paper provides an overview of a conference on the ways in which Russia and the West can contain tensions, manage competition, and keep cooperating on issues of mutual concern in light of the deterioration of their relations following Moscow’s annexation of Crimea in 2014 and its involvement in the crisis in Ukraine.
