This issue of the Central Asia-Caucasus Analyst includes articles on 1) Russia’s preparation of the annexation of the Georgian breakaway region Abkhazia; 2) the new agreement allowing US and NATO forces to stay in Afghanistan beyond 2014; 3) the Indian government’s October 2014 decision to participate in the development of Iran’s Chabahar port; and 4) the proposed collaboration between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to conduct aerial survey studies of the glacier melt in the Tien Shan and Pamir mountain ranges.
