This issue includes articles on 1) insurgent violence in Chechnya; 2) the increasing traction by the terrorist organization Islamic State among Central Asian militants; 3) Armenian-Azerbaijani confrontations in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region; and 4) the implications which the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) between Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia will have for Western countries.
